From Narrowness to Renewing Light:
A Spring Journey Through the Healing Psalms

As the world thaws and the first green shoots push their way through the soil, our tradition invites us into its own season of renewal. This is a journey for anyone seeking steadiness, renewal, or a way to feel the season’s promise from the inside out—a pilgrimage from Egypt’s tight places toward the open, listening heart of Sinai. From the liberation of Passover to the slow, attentive counting of the Omer, we walk a path that widens the heart day by day, preparing us for the moment of deep receptivity at Sinai. Along this springtime arc, when the soul is already leaning toward possibility, we will turn to the healing psalms cherished by Rebbe Nachman—texts he understood as companions for those navigating anxiety, dislocation, and the shadowed valleys of the spirit.

Across four Tuesdays sessions, April 7–28, we will explore how these psalms become a kind of
inner choreography: moving us from constriction toward breath, from fragmentation toward
coherence, from despair toward the quiet courage to begin again. Each week will weave close
reading, spiritual reflection, and gentle practice, allowing the ancient words to meet the tender
places of our own moment.
